    • The 2025 US Open has started in Queens, New York. It will run until September 7.
    • In addition to tennis matches, red-carpet and athletic fashion will also be on display.
    • So far, we’ve seen a mix of striking suits, forgettable dresses, and elevated athleticwear.

If you’re lucky, you’ve spent this week in Queens watching professional tennis matches with a Honey Deuce in hand.

Or maybe you’ve just been enjoying the 2025 US Open from home.

The two-week tennis event has been holding the attention of sports and fashion fans alike. So far, numerous celebrities and athletes have shown off their unique styles on and off the court.

Here’s a look at what attendees and competitors have worn so far, from stunning suits to forgettable frocks.

Maria Sharapova looked sharp in an all-black ensemble and silver accessories.

On Instagram, the tennis star said Nike Atelier designed her two-piece set, which included a fitted blouse with puffed sleeves and a tea-length skirt lined with pleats.

It was chic, simple, and the perfect outfit choice for a new Tennis Hall of Fame inductee. Sharapova completed the look with shining sneakers, a wave-shaped cuff, and metal hair bows.

Michael Imperioli and Victoria Imperioli wore contrasting looks that needed some work.

The “Sopranos” actor paired a cream linen suit with a black button-up shirt, while his wife donned a black ensemble made almost entirely from satin.

Unfortunately, the fabrics used in both of their outfits are prone to wrinkling, making their ensembles look more messy than high-quality on the blue carpet.

Venus Williams made a strong fashion statement as she stepped onto the US Open court.

The tennis pro wore all white for the 2025 event, pairing a pleated skirt from ERL with a collared top and a matching jacket. The outfit was understated but effective. You couldn’t miss Williams as she arrived.

She also wore white sneakers and a white visor and carried her racket in a fuzzy, cream-colored case.

The print on Jessica Pegula’s dress was a bit distracting.

She wore a $200 athletic dress from Adidas to compete at the US Open. The sleeveless piece was mostly white, though it was decorated with an abstract print in shades of brown, black, and orange on one side.

The garment undoubtedly stood out from the simpler outfits worn by athletes at the 2025 US Open. Still, the print was oddly placed and made the dress design look incomplete.

Victor Cruz perfectly blended his own style with the aesthetics of tennis.

The NFL star posed for photographers on the blue carpet while wearing a $250 rugby sweater from Aimé Leon Dore and khaki shorts.

To further showcase his style, Cruz added Nike sneakers, white crew socks, and a classic cap — one of his signature accessories — in navy blue.

Dylan Harper’s outfit was too casual for the event.

The NBA player arrived on the blue carpet wearing two Chrome Hearts pieces: a white, long-sleeved shirt that read “I love New York” and black athletic shorts adorned with the brand’s monogram.

While his outfit might have worked for a casual outing, a graphic jacket and trousers from the brand would have made more sense for the US Open.

    Tina Knowles stunned in lace.

Her two-piece outfit was simultaneously daring and chic. It was crafted entirely from floral lace, making her high-waisted pants and button-up blouse both see-through.

The “Matriarch” author also carried a small white Margiela purse and added a pop of color with red lipstick.

Brittany Snow played her fashion too safe.

She attended an IHG Hotels & Resorts event at the US Open in a $595 strapless minidress from Contessa Mills.

Though the dress itself was cute, it was styled too simply with only gold sandals and an updo hairstyle. Some statement gold jewelry and taller, strappy heels would have elevated the look.

Naomi Osaka sparkled her way onto the court.

She arrived wearing an orange Nike set, which included a bedazzled jacket worn over a tennis dress with a bubble skirt.

Her accessories, though, were even sparklier. She wore crystal-covered headphones in red, a bedazzled version of a Labubu keychain was attached to her rhinestone-encrusted bag, and 3D printed roses, also covered in crystals, adorned her hair.

The accessories brand A-Morir worked on the look with Osaka’s team.

Carlos Alcaraz had a matching moment, and it worked for him.

While competing, the Spanish athlete sported a plum-colored set from Nike. His tank top perfectly matched his shorts, and his plum sneakers completed the look.

He wore a sweatband in the same color on his wrist and a matching windbreaker on his way into and out of the stadium.
