    • Seventeen’s Joshua Hong attended the Golden Globes and met the stars of “Heated Rivalry.”
    • Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams presented an award and met Hong backstage.
    • Social media went into a bit of a meltdown after the moment, with fans saying they’d manifested the meeting.

South Korea’s It Boy, the Seventeen vocalist Joshua Hong, gave his fans something to scream about on Sunday night.

The first male K-pop star to attend the Golden Globes first strutted the red carpet in a slick black Givenchy fit, accessorizing with silver Chaumet jewelry. Then he went backstage and met with two rising stars from the steamy hockey romance, “Heated Rivalry,” and caused a small meltdown on social media.

Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams were seen in a video posted by MTV saying hello to Hong backstage, then posing for a photo together.

“Fellow Koreans!” Williams was heard saying in MTV’s video. Williams is half-Korean.

Storrie and Williams were at the Globes to present the award for best female supporting actor in television. The duo is fresh off promotions for their HBO Max smash hit, which, thanks to the power of TikTok, has become one of the most popular releases of 2025 in terms of viewership.

After footage of the backstage huddle was posted, X and Instagram were inundated with comments from both fandoms, with people saying they’d “manifested” the meeting after Hong’s attendance at the awards ceremony was confirmed.

Hong said on the red carpet on Sunday that he hadn’t seen the show, which is about a torrid love affair between two pro hockey players.

“A lot of fans have been recommending that to me, so, definitely gonna check it out,” he said.

This might not be the last time this year that Hong’s fans see him stateside, as he’s now signed with the California-based United Talent Agency in a bid to secure acting gigs. He’s also still on tour with his band members in Seventeen, who hit up Southeast Asia in their next stops.
