A ransomware group called Blackcat was allegedly behind last week’s cyberattack on UnitedHealth’s (NYSE:UNH) Change Healthcare unit, according to Reuters.

Citing two people close to the matter, Reuters said that Blackcat, also known as ALPHV, was able to gain access to Change’s IT systems, causing delays in prescription and insurance claim processing at pharmacies around the country, including CVS (CVS) and Walgreens (WBA).

Part of UnitedHealth’s Optum unit, Change provides revenue and payment cycle management solutions to payers, providers, and third-party administrators.

Last week, UnitedHealth disclosed in an SEC filing that a “suspected nation-state associated cyber security threat actor” had a gained access to Change’s IT systems. UnitedHealth added that it believed the disruption was limited to its Change unit and had not determined if the incident would materially impact the company.

On Friday, Moody’s said the cyberattack incident was a “credit negative” for UnitedHealth.
