This wouldn’t be just another pilot program or partnership; rather, it would represent production-level settlement at scale.
Imagine an announcement that involves Ripple, several major global banks, a prominent card or payment network, and possibly a significant initiative related to central bank digital currencies (CBDCs). This announcement would effectively state that XRP is being utilized for cross-border transactions.

A sustained break above $1.60–$1.70 would therefore be important because $1.70 has repeatedly acted as resistance. XRP’s previous all-time high is around $3.65, meaning a move through that region would put the asset into genuine price discovery.
The moonshot technical roadmap would look something like: $1.70 → $2 → $2.50 → $3.65 ATH → $5 → $7.50 → $10. The really interesting point is what happens above $3.65.
