Mark Zuckerberg may be a busy man, but the billionaire didn’t think he needed a watch to tell the time. Until now.
“You know, I never really wanted to get a watch. But after seeing that, I was like, watches are cool,” Zuckerberg said while admiring Ambani’s watch.
Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla Chan spent the weekend attending the Ambani’s pre-wedding party. Before the big bash, Zuckerberg spent a week touring Asia, visiting Japan and South Korea before arriving in India on Thursday.
“Your watch is fantastic. That is so cool,” Chan said while pointing at the watch. “Who makes that?”
“Richard Mille,” Ambani replied.
“I might want that,” Chan said.
“Not that, but,” Zuckerberg said, smiling.
“No, not that one, but things like it,” Chan said.
It is unclear what model of watch Ambani was wearing during their conversation. Representatives for Ambani did not immediately respond to questions from Business Insider on the timepiece.
Zuckerberg was one of the many star-studded guests invited to Ambani’s pre-wedding bash. Microsoft founder Bill Gates and former President Donald Trump’s daughter, Ivanka were in attendance as well.
On Friday night, pop star Rihanna delivered a concert-length 19-song set at the party. The performance is Rihanna’s first full live show in almost eight years, excluding her performance at last year’s Super Bowl.
Representatives for Zuckerberg did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Business Insider sent outside regular business hours.
