- Technip Energies (OTCPK:THNPY) and LanzaTech Global (NASDAQ:LNZA) has been selected by the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations to negotiate for up to $200 million in Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and Inflation Reduction Act funding as part of the Industrial Demonstrations Program.
- The new joint technology will be developed in the U.S. for integration directly into existing commercial ethylene crackers, to capture CO2 emissions from the process and convert them into sustainable ethylene.
- The contract of up to $200 million is expected to fund a commercial-scale integrated technology unit in the U.S. providing replication potential for ethylene crackers and leveraging Technip Energies’ expertise with 200 construction jobs and 40 permanent jobs.
