    Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 0.29% By Investing.com

    Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

    At the close in Tel Aviv, the fell 0.29%.

    The best performers of the session on the were Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE:), which rose 2.42% or 370.00 points to trade at 15,680.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Leumi (TASE:) added 2.30% or 95.00 points to end at 4,227.00 and First International Bank of Israel Ltd (TASE:) was up 1.91% or 330.00 points to 17,580.00 in late trade.

    The worst performers of the session were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:), which fell 3.48% or 293.00 points to trade at 8,132.00 at the close. Mivne Real Estate KD Ltd (TASE:) declined 2.82% or 31.00 points to end at 1,069.00 and Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:) was down 2.60% or 260.00 points to 9,750.00.

    Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 276 to 200 and 60 ended unchanged.

    Crude oil for February delivery was up 1.05% or 0.74 to $71.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.77% or 0.57 to hit $74.36 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.63% or 16.51 to trade at $2,615.39 a troy ounce.

    USD/ILS was down 0.44% to 3.66, while EUR/ILS fell 1.15% to 3.79.

    The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.34% at 108.16.
