    • Nvidia’s billionaire CEO rocks a black leather jacket almost everywhere he goes.
    • He wore at least six different jackets in recent years, per Business Insider’s detailed analysis.
    • His latest look, from Tom Ford’s spring collection, is his best pick yet.

Steve Jobs wore a black turtleneck. Mark Zuckerberg ushered in the casual T-shirt. Adam Neumann eschewed shoes.

Tech’s current king, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, long ago chose a black leather jacket as his signature look. He’s worn leather jackets for at least 20 years, a spokeswoman told The New York Times last year.

The billionaire has previously said his wife and daughter dress him, and true to form, he sported a black leather jacket on the cover of Time Magazine in 2021.

At Nvidia’s much-heralded artificial intelligence conference GTC this week, Huang gave the keynote speech in his all-black, cool-dad look. The jacket he wore looks like it comes from Tom Ford’s spring 2023 collection, and it retails for $8,990. Thankfully, Huang styled his ‘fit with less exposed chest than Ford’s model.

Huang previously said the all-black uniform reduces his decision-making needs. Even so, he has swapped out the leather when the occasion demands it, opting for a red floral vest in China earlier this year and suits in lawmaker meetings.

Business Insider combed through recent photos to answer one pressing question: Just how many jackets does Huang have? We spotted six jackets Huang has worn since 2017 and ranked them below in order of coolness. A Nvidia spokesman declined to comment about how many jackets sit in Huang’s wardrobe, so this could well be an undercount. And with Nvidia’s stock climbing — Bloomberg estimates Huang’s wealth at $78.8 billion — there’s no telling how many more he might purchase.
