    Apex Omni Logo

ApeX Omni is a self-custodial perpetual exchange that lets traders open long or short positions across more than 100 crypto contracts, stock and ETF perps, and prediction markets, all from one interface. Built on the zkLink X infrastructure, it settles trades using zero-knowledge proofs while users retain control of their assets.

Account setup takes a few minutes with either an email address or a connected wallet, and core trading requires no identity checks. Deposits can be made using crypto via five blockchains (Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, BNB, Mantle) or using fiat via card and bank payments in over 40 currencies.

In this guide, we’ll walk through the steps required to create an account on ApeX Omni, fund it, and start trading. We’ll also take a closer look at the platform’s main products, supported markets, fees, security approach, and more.

How to Start Using ApeX Omni: Step-by-Step Guide

The process of getting an ApeX Omni account live and funded is designed to be quick, whether you already hold crypto or prefer to buy with a card.

    1. First, head to ApeX Omni’s official website and select the email sign-up option. Enter your address – you’ll then receive a verification code, and the platform will create a Privy wallet for you after you enter the code. No external wallet is required, but you can connect your existing MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, Trust Wallet, Phantom, Privy, or WalletConnect (EVM chains only) and approve the signature.
    2. Deposit crypto on Ethereum, BNB Chain, Base, Mantle, or Arbitrum (TRON USDT is also an option). Select the chain and asset in the Deposit window. Fast withdrawals settle almost instantly via liquidity providers on supported chains; standard withdrawals process with the next Layer 2 block.
    3. If you’d prefer to deposit fiat currency directly, you may be able to do so through Alchemy Pay, using a card or bank transfer in one of more than 40 supported currencies. Smaller amounts under the provider’s daily and monthly limits can proceed without additional checks handled by ApeX. Funds typically appear in your Funding Account within a minute, and ApeX does not charge a platform fee on these deposits.
    4. Core trading on ApeX Omni does not require KYC, so you won’t need to struggle through an ID submission and verification selfie, or wait for a review to be completed before you can start opening perpetual positions. Once your funds are in your Funding Account, you can simply transfer them to the relevant product account and begin placing orders.

    What Is ApeX Omni?

ApeX Omni is the current version of the ApeX Protocol perpetual trading platform. The earlier ApeX Pro venue was succeeded by ApeX Omni in 2024 when the protocol moved to zkLink X for multichain liquidity aggregation. The platform now reports lifetime trading volume above $700 billion, more than 1.2 billion total trades, and open interest exceeding $150 million.

The core ApeX Omni platform itself is a non-custodial order-book-based decentralized exchange (DEX). Users can deposit collateral into protocol contracts, trade with a familiar interface that supports market, limit, and conditional orders, and withdraw their funds on-chain. Matching occurs off-chain for speed (up to 10,000 transactions per second), while settlement uses zero-knowledge proofs – and cross-collateral allows traders to post USDT, USDC, ETH, and other supported assets without converting them first.

Beyond crypto perpetuals, ApeX Omni’s full product set includes stock and ETF perps priced by Chainlink feeds, prediction markets, user and protocol vaults, and grid bots. We’ll examine each of these products in detail in the next section of this article.

Platform Type Non-custodial multichain perp DEX
Core Products Crypto perps, stock/ETF perps, prediction markets, vaults, grid bots
Max Leverage 100x on BTC and ETH; up to 50x on most other markets
Base Trading Fees 0.020% maker / 0.050% taker (VIP discounts available)
Trading Gas Fees Zero (platform subsidised)
    KYC for Core Trading? None
Deposit Chains Ethereum, BNB Chain, Base, Mantle, Arbitrum
Native Token APEX (staking, governance, fee tiers)

    ApeX Omni Products and Features

The ApeX Omni platform groups several trading and yield tools under a single login, allowing users to move between an extensive range of markets and products without separate accounts.

    Omni Perps

Omni Perps (ApeX Omni’s main product) offers more than 100 USDT-margined perpetual contracts that cover Bitcoin and Ethereum at up to 100x, most other majors and mid-caps at up to 50x, and meme pairs typically around 25x. Gas fees are not applied to these orders because ApeX Omni covers the associated Layer 2 network costs.

Cross-collateral lets traders post USDT, USDC, ETH, WBTC, and other assets in a single pool, each valued at its live index price. Order types include market, limit, conditional, take-profit, stop-loss, post-only, and reduce-only. Funding settles every hour on the hour, with a platform-imposed hourly adjustment cap of ±0.05%. Throughput reaches up to 10,000 transactions per second, and the interface displays live order book depth, mark price, and funding countdown on the same screen.

    Stock Perps

Stock and ETF perps give traders long or short exposure to US equities and related products without leaving the ApeX Omni platform or opening and logging in to multiple accounts. Price data is provided through Chainlink RWA feeds, and positions are held in a dedicated Stocks Account, so equity risk remains isolated from the crypto margin pool.

Early listings included names such as NVDA, TSLA, and META plus broad ETFs; the list has since expanded to more stocks, index products, commodities, and selected pre-IPO names. Maximum leverage is 50x, and a growing number of contracts now trade 24/7 while others follow a 24/5 schedule.

Funding still settles hourly, but no funding is charged during periods when the underlying US equity markets are closed. Collateral and settlement are denominated in USDT, and the same cross-collateral assets used for crypto perps can fund your Stocks Account.

    Prediction Markets

ApeX Omni’s prediction markets cover short-dated up-or-down calls on BTC, ETH, gold, and other mainstream crypto assets, as well as broader event contracts across sports, politics, and crypto via direct Polymarket integration. These are spot-style markets, so there is no leverage and therefore no liquidation risk.

Event contracts do not carry a trading fee from ApeX, but Polymarket-linked markets apply ApeX maker and taker rates of 0.5% and 1% on top of Polymarket’s own fee schedule, and fees are deducted from the order value rather than the account balance. First-time users will need to complete a short set of wallet signatures to deploy the required Gnosis Safe and link it to their Omni account (which can be done in a couple of clicks); returning users need only one signature. Funds will be moved between the Omni account and the prediction wallet on Arbitrum, with transfers usually completed within a minute.

    Vaults

Vaults offer two forms of on-chain copy-trading. In user-created vaults, a trader designs the strategy, attracts capital from other users, and keeps 10% of realized profits while investors receive the remaining 90%. The creator never takes direct custody of the deposited funds; the vault contract handles execution and the profit split.

Protocol Vaults are run by the ApeX Omni platform itself, and distribute yield drawn from 100% of the daily liquidation fees generated on Omni Perps. They are structured so the yield source is real protocol revenue rather than token emissions, and they do not involve any lock-ups.

Both vault types publish daily, weekly, and monthly returns, current open positions, maximum drawdown, and the creator’s track record. Minimums to open a user vault start at 100 USDT, and individual investment caps have been removed on many vaults.

    Grid Bots

Grid bots automate the classic range-based strategy of placing laddered limit orders inside a chosen price band, and apply it to any USDT perpetual pair on ApeX Omni. Users can select a neutral (two-sided), long (one-sided), or short (one-sided) mode, then choose arithmetic or geometric spacing. Take-profit and stop-loss levels can be set so the bot exits as a market order when those levels are hit.

Because most fills are resting limit orders, they typically receive maker rates under the standard fee schedule. Grid-bot volume also does not count toward VIP tier calculation. The grid bot feature is available on both web and mobile and works across the full list of crypto perpetual contracts, but it does not support stock perps or prediction markets.

    The APEX Token

APEX is ApeX Protocol’s native token and has a fixed supply of 500 million. Holders can stake their APEX or the escrowed esAPEX token to earn weekly rewards funded by buybacks of trading-fee revenue; longer lock-ups (up to 24 months) increase the reward multiplier, and consistent trading activity adds an additional boost. Staked balances also qualify users for lower VIP fee tiers, which are calculated on either 14-day trading volume or the amount of APEX plus esAPEX staked, whichever is better. At the highest volume tiers, maker fees reach 0%.

APEX token holders can also submit and vote on governance proposals, and esAPEX earned from staking can be vested into APEX over six months or simply restaked. Weekly APEX token buybacks made by ApeX itself have already repurchased millions of tokens, and the APEX staking page shows the current weekly distribution amount.

How to Get Started on ApeX Omni – Conclusion

ApeX Omni works well for traders who want an order-book experience, self-custody, and access to both crypto and equity perps without moving assets to a centralized operator. Email onboarding and multi-chain deposits, including a direct fiat path, remove most of the setup friction that often frustrates new exchange users before they can make their first trades. Zero gas on orders, VIP fee tiers that reward either volume or APEX staking, and Protocol Vaults that distribute actual liquidation revenue also give longer-term users a range of simple ways to lower costs and earn yield tied to platform activity.

The same account and login also includes access to ApeX Omni’s prediction markets and automated grid bots, so the product range is impressively broad, and moving funds between product accounts is easy. Users who feel comfortable managing their own keys (and carefully sizing positions and leverage) will find ApeX Omni a practical place to dive into on-chain perpetuals and related markets.
