Max, formerly known as HBO Max, is one of the best streaming services out there. We consistently rank it as the top option for critically acclaimed content — and it also has one of the best Cyber Monday deals.

Right now, you can get a 70% discount on Max for six months. Both new and returning customers are able to subscribe to the ad-supported tier for only $2.99 a month, which is typically $9.99. This Max Cyber Monday deal ends tomorrow, November 27, and has been available for the past few days in the lead-up to Black Friday.

With Max recently raising prices, this is going to be the best Max deal you can expect to see for a while, so make sure to jump on it. Plus, “Barbie” is coming soon to the streaming platform, making it an even more enticing offer.

    Max with ads (Monthly Plan)

Formerly HBO Max, now just Max, this streaming service is the US home of premium content from HBO and Warner Bros. Since the rebranding, it’s now also the home of Discovery content for reality, food, true crime, and more. This massively reduced rate will last for six months, making it a great time to join. Sadly, there’s no deal on the no-ads tier. This offer expires on November 27.

Though it is a great deal, we do have to flag that it’s for an ad-supported plan, so you will have to watch the occasional commercial. If you want to upgrade, ad-free Max costs $16 a month, and you need to pay $4 more ($20) to watch Max in 4K with no commercials.

Along with HBO original content like “House of the Dragon,” Max’s library features shows and movies from Warner Bros, Discovery, Cartoon Network, Studio Ghibli, and more.

Max also includes nearly every DC movie, such as “The Dark Knight” and “Zack Snyder’s Justice League,” as well as live sports from TNT through the B/R sports add-on that is included at no additional cost as part of this Cyber Monday deal.

We’re tracking Cyber Monday and Black Friday streaming deals from top services like Hulu, Disney Plus, and Paramount Plus. To see how these competitors stack up to Max, check out our guide to the best streaming services.
