Existing home sales rise 1.5% in September, in line with expectations

September U.S. existing home sales: +1.5% M/M to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 4.06M vs. 4.060M consensus and 4.00M in August, according to data released by the National Association of Realtors on Thursday.
