    Euro Area inflation drops to 2.6% in February, records trade surplus of €11.4B (EUR:USD)

    Inflation rate in the Euro Area decreased to 2.60% in February from 2.80% in January of 2024, meets market forecast.

    The Consumer Price Index increased 0.60% in February of 2024 over the previous month.

    Euro Area recorded a trade surplus of €11400M in January of 2024.

    Exports of goods to the rest of the world in January 2024 were €225.9B, an increase of 1.3% compared with January 2023. Imports from the rest of the world stood at €214.5B, a fall of 16.1% compared with January 2023.
