High-tech mobility company, Canoo Inc. (NASDAQ:) announced Monday the appointment of Michael Carter as Chief People Officer.
“We’re excited to welcome Michael to the Canoo team,” said CEO, Tony Aquila.
As CPO, Carter will be responsible for assisting the company through its growth and scaling manufacturing in Oklahoma.
Carter’s career spans various leadership roles in human resources, contributing his expertise to notable companies like Cisco, Intel, Qualcomm, Lucid Group, and Samsung Electronics. His tenure involved orchestrating HR strategies, merging software and automotive talent, and steering initiatives at the intersection of technology and people management.
“This important next phase in our journey requires ramping up our manufacturing team in Oklahoma. Michael’s skillset is connected to the most important things we have to get done in 2024.” Added Aquila.
Shares of GOEV are down 0.32% in mid-day trading on Monday.
