    Turkey stocks higher at close of trade; BIST 100 up 1.14% By Investing.com

    Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

    At the close in Istanbul, the rose 1.14%.

    The best performers of the session on the were Trabzonspor Sportif Yatirim ve Futbol Isletmeciligi Ticaret AS (IS:), which rose 10.00% or 0.11 points to trade at 1.21 at the close. Meanwhile, Hektas Ticaret TAS (IS:) added 7.93% or 0.31 points to end at 4.22 and Tumosan Motor ve Traktor Sanayi AS (IS:) was up 6.18% or 7.40 points to 127.10 in late trade.

    The worst performers of the session were LDR Turizm AS (IS:), which fell 7.36% or 10.90 points to trade at 137.20 at the close. Smart Gunes Enerjisi Teknolojileri Arastirma Gelistirme Uretim Sanayi ve Ticaret (IS:) declined 5.97% or 2.62 points to end at 41.28 and Turkiye Sigorta AS (IS:) was down 5.48% or 0.93 points to 16.05.

    Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 348 to 211 and 26 ended unchanged.

    Gold Futures for February delivery was down 0.40% or 10.61 to $2,658.39 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in February rose 0.81% or 0.59 to hit $73.72 a barrel, while the March Brent oil contract rose 0.46% or 0.35 to trade at $76.28 a barrel.

    USD/TRY was up 0.08% to 35.38, while EUR/TRY rose 0.35% to 36.41.

    The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.22% at 108.96.
