Japan’s Feb manufacturing PMI revised higher, remains in contraction

The Au Jibun Bank Japan Manufacturing PMI stood at 49.0 in February 2025, slightly above flash figures of 48.9.

The latest result followed January’s 10-month low of 48.7, with output falling for the sixth consecutive month, though the pace of reduction eased.
