The cryptocurrency market continued its strong momentum on Tuesday.

Bitcoin has surged to a two-week high, breaching the $91,000 level amid a sharp bout of upward momentum.

The rally marks a notable turnaround for the cryptocurrency, which had struggled with volatility in recent weeks but now appears to be staging a decisive advance.

The price move has reignited interest across crypto markets, with analysts and traders weighing in on the sustainability of the rally and its potential drivers.

The global cryptocurrency market is seeing renewed momentum, with total market capitalization rising to $2.84 trillion — a 3.04% increase over the past 24 hours.

Trading activity has also picked up notably, with total market volume climbing 29.70% to $103.78 billion.

Bitcoin traded at $90,799.23, up around 3% in the past 24 hours.

The coin’s 24-hour trading range was between $86,408.85 and $91,463.

Bitcoin’s market share edged higher as well, with dominance increasing by 0.15 percentage points to 63.52%, reflecting the asset’s ongoing strength amid broader market gains.

Several catalysts are driving Bitcoin’s latest surge.

Foremost among them is the weakening US dollar, which has created a supportive backdrop for alternative assets.

As the dollar declines, Bitcoin has resumed its role as a hedge against inflation and currency devaluation, drawing increased interest from investors seeking to diversify away from traditional fiat exposure.

Compounding this, the appetite for exchange-traded Bitcoin products has picked up meaningfully.

US-listed Bitcoin ETFs registered their strongest daily inflows since January 2025, signaling a return of institutional demand and renewed confidence in the asset’s longer-term prospects.
