    Colombia stocks lower at close of trade; COLCAP down 0.51% By Investing.com

    Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

    At the close in Colombia, the lost 0.51%.

    The best performers of the session on the were Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC:), which rose 3.48% or 420.00 points to trade at 12,500.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Interconnection Electric SA ESP (BVC:) added 2.50% or 420.00 points to end at 17,220.00 and Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA Pref (BVC:) was up 2.42% or 11.00 points to 466.00 in late trade.

    The worst performers of the session were Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (BVC:), which fell 1.94% or 700.00 points to trade at 35,300.00 at the close. Banco Davivienda Pf (BVC:) declined 1.69% or 320.00 points to end at 18,560.00 and Ecopetrol SA (BVC:) was down 1.39% or 25.00 points to 1,775.00.

    Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

    US coffee C for March delivery was down 0.03% or 0.08 to $295.97 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in March fell 3.65% or 343.00 to hit $9,059.00 , while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.24% or 6.47 to trade at $2,664.97 a troy ounce.

    USD/COP was down 0.46% to 4,436.50, while BRL/COP fell 0.29% to 733.97.

    The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 106.33.
