Sanofi (NASDAQ:SNY) said on Thursday its multiple myeloma drug Sarclisa (isatuximab) met the primary endpoints of a late-stage trial. The drug is currently indicated for use in a combination therapy for previously-treated relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma. The Phase 3 IMROZ trial showed it achieved the primary endpoint of progression free survival in transplant-ineligible patients with newly diagnosed multiple myeloma. Sarclisa – combined with bortezomib, lenalidomide and dexamethasone – significantly reduced the risk of disease progression or death compared with just dexamethasone.
