REITs increase stock buybacks by ~24% in Q2 (XLRE:NYSEARCA)

U.S. REITs repurchased shares worth $1.23B in the second quarter, up 24.1% from $991.1M in the prior quarter, according to S&P Global Market Intelligence.

However, the activity fell 5.3% compared to $1.30B in the second quarter of 2024, the August 26 report noted.
