Intel (NASDAQ:INTC) announced that former board member and Cadence Design Systems (CDNS) CEO Lip-Bu Tan would be the embattled chipmaker’s new Chief Executive Officer.
Intel shares jumped nearly 10% in extended trading on Wednesday following the announcement.
