SHENZHEN, China (Reuters) – China’s Huawei Technologies launched the latest edition of its flagship Mate series at an event in its hometown of Shenzhen on Tuesday, with executive Richard Yu saying it is “the most powerful Mate phone ever”.
The Mate 70 is the first mainstream smartphone to include a satellite paging system, has an improved processor and runs on Huawei’s homegrown HarmonyOS Next (LON:) operating system, Yu said.
