JPMorgan’s Ethereum deposit-token launch adds an institutional use case as ETH tests resistance. Ethereum price prediction and key levels.

Ethereum is trading at just above $2,400, flat in 24 hours, but its price prediction might get a boost. JPMorgan just extended its deposit-token initiative to Ethereum mainnet for approved institutional clients. The move adds a high-profile settlement use case.

JPM Coin represents US dollar deposits at JPMorgan and is designed for around-the-clock transfers and settlement. The bank’s Ethereum deployment follows its launch on Base and targets institutional fund transfers and tokenized-asset settlement. However, the token is not publicly traded or available to retail customers.

News: JPM Coin (JPMD), @jpmorgan’s USD deposit token, is now live on @ethereum.

JPMD extends from Base to Ethereum L1, giving institutional clients native onchain cash that sits alongside the assets, collateral and counterparties they transact with already.

Ethereum’s liquidity and established activity help explain the choice of network. That is constructive for the long-term infrastructure case, while near-term price action remains caught between ETF outflows and a technical recovery attempt.

Can ETH turn institutional validation into a breakout? ETH still needs to reclaim nearby resistance, and the levels that would confirm a stronger trend matter more than the headline alone. The $2,600 zone is the test.

Ethereum Price Prediction: Can ETH Hit $2,600 This Week?

ETH’s latest $2,420 reading puts it just below initial resistance at $2,450. The 24-hour range was $2,350–$2,440, with the session’s flat movement bringing price close to that first ceiling.

The technical picture remains mixed. ETH is below its 50-day exponential moving average at $2,500 and its 20-day average at $2,550, leaving overhead supply before the larger $2,600 trend-reversal threshold.

Support sits around $2,378, with $2,325 as the next downside reference. Recent Ethereum levels and breakout conditions are also discussed in our other ETH rebound analysis.

    • Bull case: holding above $2,378 and clearing $2,448 would put the moving averages back in play; a sustained break above $2,600 would strengthen the reversal setup, with $2,800 a subsequent target.
    • Base case: price consolidates between support and resistance while traders wait for ETF demand to improve.
    • Bear case: losing $2,378 exposes $2,325 and would weaken the rebound thesis.

U.S. Ethereum products recorded about $500 million in net outflows last week, a demand headwind even as JPMorgan’s digital-asset inflow estimate pointed to improving institutional positioning. For another institutional perspective, Tom Lee’s ETH outlook weighs flows alongside price risks.

LiquidChain Targets Early Mover Upside as Ethereum Tests Key Levels

JPMorgan’s move supports Ethereum’s role in institutional settlement, but adoption headlines do not erase the chart’s overhead resistance. With ETH below both short- and medium-term averages, the near-term upside remains conditional; a failed reclaim can frustrate traders even when the underlying network story improves.

LiquidChain ($LIQUID) is a Layer 3 project pitching a unified execution environment for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana liquidity. Its features include a Unified Liquidity Layer, Single-Step Execution, Verifiable Settlement, and a Deploy-Once Architecture. With Liquid, developers deploy once to access all three ecosystems.

The presale price is $0.014967, and the project reports $985K raised. Staking is also being offered at a very high 1100% APY, the highest in the market, but only for those who buy in this presale stage.

Research LiquidChain before the presale window closes.
