That’s enormous, but in a genuine crypto mania scenario, it wouldn’t be mathematically impossible. The ridiculous hypothetical catalyst Claude AI mentioned is full-blown institutional adoption.
In this hypothetical scenario, a major global payments consortium announces that XRP will be used as a neutral bridge asset. Not merely Ripple using XRP for some corridors; imagine something like 10–20 major banks/payment networks announcing commercial XRP settlement simultaneously.

A decisive break of $3.65 would be particularly important: it would put XRP into genuine price-discovery territory, where traditional resistance levels disappear, and Fibonacci extensions, market-cap comparisons, and momentum become more relevant.
In the insane scenario, a breakout above ~$5 followed by a successful retest could produce the kind of reflexive momentum that takes XRP toward $10, $15, and eventually $20+ far faster than conventional valuation models would suggest.
