Creators, open source developers, and small businesses can now accept crypto donations and payments in any coin and receive Monero, Bitcoin, or the coin of their choice, straight to their own wallet. No account, no ID, and the funds are never held by a middleman.
HiddenSwap, the no-account crypto swap service built around Monero, has launched HiddenPay, a free tool for creating crypto donation buttons, README badges, payment links, and embeddable pay boxes. A creator pastes a wallet address, picks the coin they want to receive, and gets a link and a set of buttons in about a minute. Supporters pay with whatever coin they hold, and each payment is converted and sent directly to the creator’s address.
The Problem: Most Supporters Do Not Hold the Coin You Want
Anyone who has put a Monero address on a website knows the pattern. Readers want to help, but most of them hold Bitcoin, Ether, or USDT. To send XMR, they would have to find a service, swap, wait, and come back. Few do.
Existing ways to accept crypto payments usually force a tradeoff. Hosted payment gateways often require a merchant account, signup paperwork, and holding your funds until payout. Showing a single address is private and simple, but only works for people who already hold that exact coin.
HiddenPay removes that tradeoff. It works like a crypto payment link and a crypto donation button at the same time: one link that accepts many coins and always pays out in the one you chose.
How HiddenPay Works
- Create a link. Choose the coin you wish to receive, for example Monero, and paste your address. Add a name and a note if you like. There is no signup and no email is required.
- Share it anywhere. Put the button on your website, the badge in your GitHub README, the BBCode in a forum post, the QR code on a stream, or the plain link in your bio.
- Get paid in your coin. A supporter opens the link, picks the coin they hold, and sends it. Each payment is its own swap, and the coin you chose is sent straight to your wallet.
Every link comes in two modes:
- Donation links, where the payer chooses the amount. Owners can set a suggested amount and a minimum.
- Payment links, where the owner sets the exact amount they want to receive, such as 0.25 XMR. HiddenPay works out how much the payer has to send in their coin, using a fixed rate where the pair allows it, so the owner receives at least the amount asked for.
A payer who already holds the owner’s coin can pay the address directly, with no swap at all.
Built for Privacy From the First Click
HiddenPay follows the same approach as the rest of HiddenSwap: collect as little as possible and never hold user money.
- No accounts. Instead of a login, the creator receives an owner key, shown once. It opens the dashboard where payments and settings live. HiddenSwap keeps only a one-way hash of it.
- Non-custodial by design. There is no balance to withdraw and no payout schedule. Every payment goes from the payer, through a single swap, to the creator’s own address.
- Payers stay private too. Payers see the link name, the note, and the last characters of the address. They are never asked for a name or an email.
- Optional, encrypted notifications. Creators can add an email to hear about new payments. It is stored encrypted, confirmed first, and never shown to anyone.
- Works in Tor Browser and without JavaScript, for creators and payers alike.
The payout address of a link can never be edited. If an owner key were ever lost or stolen, nobody could redirect the payments; the creator simply makes a new link.
A Monero Payment Gateway Without the Gateway
Many Monero creators want a simple way to accept Monero payments from people who do not hold XMR. HiddenPay addresses that issue without a merchant account, API keys, or a server to run. A creator who wants to accept Monero donations can do it from a single link, while their supporters pay with BTC, ETH, USDT, LTC, SOL, and many other coins.
Receiving is not limited to Monero. Creators can choose Bitcoin, USDT on Tron or Ethereum, or other supported coins as the payout, and the same buttons and badges work for all of them.
Buttons That Match Any Website
A crypto payment button only works if people notice it and trust it. HiddenPay ships with a full customizer:
- Five button styles: solid, outline, soft, night (for light sites), and paper (for dark sites).
- Three shapes and three sizes, from a compact pill to a large square call to action.
- Six words: Donate, Tip, Support, Sponsor, Contribute or Pay, with “with any coin”, “with crypto”, or no extra words.
- Any colour, with the text colour picked automatically so the button stays readable.
- Four README badge styles that sit next to build and licence badges on GitHub, Codeberg, and GitLab.
- An embeddable pay box in dark, light, or the site’s own colours.
Every button and badge is a plain image and a link. No script runs on the creator’s page, which is why they work on GitHub, forums, and strict sites. Owners change the look in their dashboard, and every page that shows the button updates within minutes. Creating and keeping a HiddenPay link is free. The creator pays nothing extra. Payments made directly in the creator’s own coin cost nothing at all.
