PS5 bundles are still on sale at multiple retailers as part of Black Friday 2023. These are the best Black Friday PS5 deals we’ve seen since the console launched in 2020, and the discounts even include the newly released slim PlayStation 5 model.

Discounted PS5 bundles cost $500 and include the disc-drive version of the console and a digital copy of either Call of Duty Modern Warfare III or Spider-Man 2 for $60 off. The disc-drive PS5 is usually $500 on its own and games typically cost $70, so this Black Friday PS5 bundle essentially gives you a game for free and an extra $10 discount. We’re also seeing deals on PS5 accessories, like $20 off the DualSense controller and big savings on a 4TB SSD. YOu can also save up to 50% on popular franchises like God of War: Ragnarok and Hogwarts Legacy.

We expect these Black Friday PS5 deals to last through midnight, and could extend through the weekend and into Cyber Monday on November 27. However, discounts like this tend to sell out, so we recommend snagging them while they’re still in stock. For more savings across all product categories, check out our Black Friday deals hub.

Best PS5 Black Friday deals today

    Sony PS5 Slim Spider-Man 2 bundle

The brand-new slim version of the PS5 is already available in a discounted bundle with Spider-Man 2. At this deal price, you’re basically getting the game for free. And in a addition to a smaller build, this redesign of the PS5 includes a larger 1TB hard drive so you can store more games.

Sony PS5 Slim Modern Warfare 3 bundle

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is still brand new, much like the PS5 Slim, and yet here we are, looking at a $60 discount at launch. Actually, you’re saving ten bucks on top of that given the new COD is $70 at retail.

    Sony PS5 with Spider-Man 2

$60 off this excellent PS5 bundle means you’re basically getting the brand-new Spider-Man 2 game for free. Better than free really, since the game is still $70 at most stores and a PS5 on its own is still $499. We wouldn’t wait for a cheaper Black Friday deal than this superb bundle with one of the best games of the year.

    Sony PlayStation DualSense Wireless Controller

As one of Sony’s best controllers to date, the DualSense for PS5 feels great in the hands and features next-gen haptic feedback. It’s rare to find one on sale, and this deal matches the best price we’ve seen.

Razer Quick Charging Stand for PS5

Charge your PS5’s DualSense controller with style using Razer’s Quick Charging stand. It’s available in six shades that match the most common colors available for Sony’s official controller. This unit only charges a single controller, but it’s never been this low.

    XPG 4TB Gammix S70 Blade

This XPG solid stage drive is available in a big 4TB storage option for less than the competition, without sacrificing too much speed. This is the lowest price we’ve seen it drop to, and $230 is an excellent deal for this much space.

    Samsung 990 PRO SSD w/ Heatsink (1TB)

This Samsung SSD card works with both PCs and PS5 consoles, and this version even comes with a dedicated heatsink. It’s up to 40% off right now, which is a great deal for a storage drive this fast with this much capacity.

Sony INZONE H3 Wired Gaming Headset

This officially branded wired gaming headset by Sony pairs perfectly with PlayStation 5. It’s an inexpensive way to get the most out of Sony’s 360 Audio for more immersive gameplay. This is the lowest price we’ve seen on this model.

    SteelSeries SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7X

The SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7X shares many features with the more expensive Nova Pro, like a noise-canceling microphone and wireless cross-platform support, while maintaining a midrange price. Right now it’s at its lowest price ever.

Resident Evil 4 (PS5 Physical Version)

This remake brings one of the best zombie survival games ever into the modern day, with updated graphics and controls. This deal is the lowest we’ve seen it since release earlier this year.

Mortal Kombat 1 Standard Edition (PS5)

Mortal Kombat 1 shifts the paradigm of relationships between the series’ most iconic characters, making for a fresh backdrop to this gruesome fighting game. You can use the $20 you’ll save to buy some of the DLC characters that will soon expand this game’s fun roster.

God of War Ragnarok Standard Edition (PS5)

God of War Ragnarok received high honors as a strong 2022 game of the year nominee. It continues the story of Kratos, who now journeys through Nordic territory to stare down new gods and deities.

    Elden Ring (PlayStation 5)

Winner of 2022’s Game of the Year award, Elden Ring is a massive open-world RPG with hundreds of different enemies and weapons. Right now you can snag the PS5 version for near the lowest price ever.

Warner Bros. Hogwarts Legacy Standard Edition (PS5)

Hogwarts Legacy transports you to the world of Harry Potter in an original story starring your own custom wizard. This action RPG title is one of 2023’s best games, and you’ll get a ton of quality playtime out of this discounted purchase price.

    Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales (PS5)

Spider-Man 2 has everyone’s attention in 2023, but Spider-Man: Miles Morales served as a nice stopgap after the original title’s launch. There aren’t many games worth sliding a $20 bill over the counter for more than this one.

    PS5 Black Friday FAQs

What’s different between the PS5 slim and the original PS5?

The new PS5 slim has 30% less volume than the original PS5 design and the internal solid state drive has been upgraded from 825GB to a full 1TB of storage. The standard PS5 slim also features a removable 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive.

Sony says the new slim PS5 model will eventually replace the original, but in terms of in-game performance they’re identical. The PS5 slim with disc drive costs the same as the original PS5 with disc drive at $500; the digital-edition PS5 slim will cost $450, which is $50 more than the original digital-edition PS5.

In another small difference, the slim PS5 doesn’t come with a vertical stand, though it can stand vertically without one. Sony’s included stand for the original PS5 works both vertically and horizontally. A separate slim PS5 vertical stand is available for $30.

How is the PS5 digital edition different from the standard PS5?

The digital-edition PS5 has no disc drive, meaning you’ll need to purchase games digitally from the PlayStation store and download them to play. The original digital-edition PS5 costs $400, so it’s $100 cheaper than PS5 models that include a disc drive.

However, the new digital-edition PS5 slim will actually allow gamers to purchase a separate disc drive attachment if they decide they want the 4K Blu-ray drive in the future. At $450, this redesigned model will cost slightly more than the original digital-edition PS5, but it’s not yet available at retailers. The add-on PS5 4K Blu-ray drive will cost $80.
