Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the fell 0.69%.
The best performers of the session on the were Camtek Ltd (TASE:), which rose 3.29% or 770.00 points to trade at 24,180.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Nova (TASE:) added 2.98% or 1,400.00 points to end at 48,370.00 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:) was up 1.92% or 200.00 points to 10,620.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Shikun & Binui (TASE:), which fell 3.73% or 38.00 points to trade at 980.00 at the close. Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd (TASE:) declined 3.06% or 202.00 points to end at 6,410.00 and Newmed Energy LP (TASE:) was down 2.94% or 31.00 points to 1,022.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 347 to 116 and 76 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.22% or 0.16 to $71.07 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.13% or 0.10 to hit $75.74 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.80% or 16.15 to trade at $1,998.35 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.30% to 3.71, while EUR/ILS rose 0.16% to 3.99.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 103.83.
