ZimVie (NASDAQ:ZIMV) said it has received FDA clearance for its Vital Spinal Fixation System, including instruments for use with Brainlab’s Spine & Trauma Navigation product.
The medical device maker plans to co-market Brainlab’s Spine & Trauma alongside its Vital and Virage products, with the first Vital sets expected to made available on the US market in early 2024.
ZimVie and Brainlab entered into a development cooperation agreement in March aimed at making ZimVie’s Vital and Virage products compatible with Brianlab’s Spine & Trauma.
ZimVie intends to apply for FDA clearance of Virage next year.
