Opened in 2016, Little Jack’s Tavern may look more like a classic, old-school neighborhood steakhouse in the historic city of Charleston, but its burger has become the real celebrity.
The Tavern Burger keeps things nice and simple with a thin griddled patty, American cheese, onions, sauce, and a sesame bun.
Bon Appétit helped to put the burger on the national map, telling readers to “ignore the alluring steaks section of the menu in favor of the thin four-ounce patty,” which the magazine said “evokes a drive-thru burger in the best possible way.”
