Southwest Gas (NYSE:SWX) disclosed Monday it agreed to nominate four designees by Carl Icahn to its board, in an amended agreement that sets out conditions determining when the standstill restriction on the Icahn Group will end.
As a result, Southwest Gas (SWX) said it will nominate Andrew Evans, Henry Linginfelter, Ruby Sharma and Andrew Teno as Icahn designees for election at the 2024 annual shareholders meeting.
The company also said Paul Daily plans to retire in 2024 as President and CEO of its Centuri Group subsidiary, while also saying it continues to advance the previously announced process for the subsidiary’s separation.
