Shift4 Payments’ (NYSE:FOUR) CEO Jared Isaacman cancelled an appearance at a Wolfe fintech conference this week due to a scheduling conflict. Shift4 (FOUR) shares seesawed in Monday morning trading amid the report.
Shift4’s (FOUR) investor relations will present as scheduled at the Wolfe Research FinTech Forum this week, a Shift4 representative confirmed to Seeking Alpha in an email.
The update comes as Reuters reported late last month that FiServe (FI) was competing to purchase the company. FiServe is one of the main conteders for Shif4 (FOUR). FOUR has been running a sales process and final offers are expected to be made in the coming weeks, Reuters reported at the time.
FiServe (FI) is still scheduled to present at the Wolfe conference on Thursday.
Shift4 Payments (FOUR) confirmed in its Q3 shareholder letter that it was “actively exploring strategic opporunities and alternatives.”
