Retractable Technologies (NYSE:RVP) its VanishPoint safety syringes are not part of a safety advisory issued by the FDA on Thursday about suspected performance problems with certain syringes manufactured in China.
The company said that it has not made any recent changes to the product’s dimensions. It added that users can continue to be confident that its VanishPoint syringes deliver correct dosages and are able to protect users from needlesticks.
On Thursday, the FDA said that it was evaluating certain syringes made in China for possible breakage or leakage issues that could impact performance.
