Iberdrola-owned (IBDSF) (IBDRY) Scottish Power said Wednesday it plans to spend £1.5B (~$2B) to upgrade old turbines at the Whitelee Windfarm in Scotland, which would nearly double capacity at Britain’s largest onshore windfarm.
