Germany’s manufacturing sector sees a drop in output and new orders

The headline HCOB Germany Manufacturing PMI at 42.5 in December, down from readings of 43.0 in both October and November. The number signalled a sharp and slightly accelerated decline in business conditions at the end of the final quarter of 2024.
