The chief executive of Ladbrokes owner Entain has stepped down after just five months in the role.

Gavin Isaacs will leave immediately “by mutual agreement,” the betting operator said on Tuesday, without giving a reason for his departure.

Chair Stella David, who was interim chief executive from December 2023 until September 2024, will assume the chief executive role on an interim basis. Pierre Bouchut, the senior independent director, will become non-executive chair on an interim basis, the company added.

Entain said it was comfortable with market expectations for 2025.
