CPI Aerostructures to begin NGJ-MB production for Raytheon in a deal capped at $42.3M (CVU:NYSE)

  • CPI Aerostructures (CVU)on Thursday said that Raytheon, an RTX business, has authorized to begin manufacturing of Pods and Air Management System [AMS] for Lot 5 of the U.S. Navy’s Next Generation Jammer Mid-Band program under a contract valued at up to $42.3 million.
  • Initial funding is $21.1 million, and deliveries are scheduled to start in 2027.
  • The NGJ-MB system, which achieved initial operational capability in December 2024, will replace the ALQ-99 jamming system on EA-18G Growler aircraft.
