The world’s top iron ore miners BHP (NYSE:BHP) and Rio Tinto (NYSE:RIO) will join Australia’s largest steelmaker BlueScope Steel (OTCPK:BLSFF) to build the country’s largest electric ironmaking smelting furnace, the companies announced early Tuesday, without providing financial details.
